Light, calm travertine with straight veins (vein-cut) and a honed, matte finish. Unfilled: the natural structure of the stone stays visible. Supplied in 30.5 cm wide strips of free length, for a sleek random bond that visually lengthens a space.
Free length means the strips come in varying lengths; you lay them in a continuous random bond. Modern, sleek and without repetition.
Vein-cut gives the characteristic linear figuring; lay all strips in the same direction for the best effect, for example towards the window or the terrace.
Honed is the ideal finish for the Caribbean climate: matte, not mirror-like in the sun and pleasant under bare feet. Indoors on floors and walls, outdoors on covered terraces.
Unfilled travertine can still be filled after laying with a grout in the colour of the stone, for a smoother surface that is easier to keep clean.
