Slabs 2–3 cm

Travertine and marble slabs on Curaçao

Slabs are large natural stone sheets of roughly 250 to 300 cm long and 150 to 200 cm high. They are cut to size into vanity tops, shower walls, kitchen islands, table tops and seamless wall cladding: one continuous figure instead of tiles.

We supply slabs in travertine (Light, Classic, Walnut, Medium, Noce Light and Sunset in bookmatch) and in marble and dolomite (Crema Beige, Tundra Grey, Breccia Aurora, Emperador Dark, Nero Levanto, Gris Nublado). Polished or honed, filled or unfilled, 2 or 3 cm thick.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about slabs

Is a travertine slab suitable as a vanity or kitchen top?

Yes, provided it is filled and sealed. Travertine is softer than granite: use a cutting board, wipe up acids (lemon, wine) immediately and reseal yearly. For a kitchen top we recommend a polished, filled 3 cm slab.

What is bookmatch?

In a bookmatch, two consecutive slabs from the same block are placed mirrored side by side, like the pages of an open book. The veins run symmetrically: ideal for a bathroom wall or backdrop.

How big is a slab and how is it delivered?

A slab is roughly 250–300 × 150–200 cm and 2 or 3 cm thick. We cut it to size and deliver the pieces on an A-frame or pallet on Curaçao; installation is done by your contractor or our partner.

Can I see a slab first?

Certainly. Send a WhatsApp message to book an appointment; we show the available slabs and samples and send photos of the exact slab in advance.
